Senior canoe sprint kayakers Naomi Flood, Alyce Burnett and Amy Peters are currently in the ACT for a week long camp from the 17 to 23 November.

Under the watchful eyes of National Women’s Head Coaches David Foureur and Anna Wood, the Australian trio will complete little or no paddling with the camp focusing on cross training.

Joining the athletes at the camp will be 24 year old Hungarian paddler Tamara Csipes who is currently based in Australia.

The camp began on Monday with a three and a half hour cycle followed by a bush walk in the Namadgi National Park.

The remainder of the week will see the team complete multiple cycling, gym and bush walking sessions including a four hour trek up Mount Kosciuszko from Thredbo.

The camp concludes on Sunday.
