Results for Saturday's racing and the start list for Sunday can be found here.
Racing at the NSW state slalom championships in Penrith this morning took place under a haze of smoke from fires in the Blue Mountains. Our thoughts go out to those fighting the fires and who have lost their homes.
In a different element at the whitewater stadium, Jessica Fox took out the double gold in K1 and C1, followed by Rosalyn Lawrence in both events. Alison Borrows rounded out the third position in the C1W, while Jess' younger sister Noemi took the bronze in the K1W.
In the men's C1, local Ian Borrows took the win, with Kynan Maley (WA) making a comeback to take second plac ahead of Victorian Christian Fabris.
The men's K1 saw Warwick Draper (VIC) in the lead, .01 seconds ahead of Joey Croft (NSW.) Next in line was Anthony Brown (NSW,) who came out of retirement to take the bronze.
Racing starts again at 8am tomorrow morning. See the links below for a full start list and today's results.
