Australian Canoeing director Catherine Ordway will be speaking on doping issues in sport and the ACC report at the Australian & New Zealand Sports Law Association (ANZSLA) regional event next month.
Barrister Anthony Crocker will also be presenting, followed by Q&A with the distinguished guest speakers and networking opportunities.
The mission of the ANZSLA is “To provide education, advocacy and networking opportunities about legal issues in sport in Australian and New Zealand.”
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Adelaide and has more than 13 years of experience in sports law and anti-doping internationally. Catherine is currently employed as a Sports & Anti-Doping Consultant and works with national and international sporting organisations. Catherine has published a series of articles and has given a number of conference presentations on the legal ramifications of drugs in sport.
