When/Why did you begin this sport?  Started in September 1999 through QAS Talent search program.

What are your future goals?  To win an Olympic medal.
What keeps you busy outside of Kayaking?  Relaxing and friends
Greatest Influence on Career?  Parents, family and coaches.
Which competitors do you respect/fear the most?  I do not fear anything or anyone  when i am lineing up to race.. I respect all my competitors but hold the utmost respect for my fellow team/crew members over all.
Who inspires you? Clint Robinson and Roger Federer.
Favourite Olympic Memory?  My favourite Olympic memory would have to be a tie between the Beijing Opening ceremony and winning Olympic bronze a few weeks later.  Walking out when Australia got called at the Opening Ceremony was amazing, so many emotions running through me all at the one moment.  Winning Olympic Bronze - reaching one of my childhood dreams is one of the best feelings and sharing it with three girls who know exactly what it took to achieve that, you could never describe it in words, it is a first hand experience.
Sporting Motto? Never give up!
Superstitions? Everything has to be in order. If it isn’t I kind of freak out and get nervous.
Education/Employment?  Studying Law and Communications degree, currently deferred studies to concentrate on my Olympic goals.
