None, still waiting for inspiration! Sam joined Australian Canoeing in May 2007 Sam started paddling at the age of 8 and has been committed slalom paddler since those early days. Sam moved out to Australia with his family in 2002 and since then has become an Australian citizen and has represented Australia at various slalom competitions around the World the highlights being the 2006 and 2009 World Championships and being 2011 Oceania Champion. With his role at Australian Canoeing, Sam has considerably broadened his understanding of the range of canoeing disciplines and was fortunate enough to be competition director for the 2009 Australian Youth Olympic Canoe Sprint event. Sam's hobbies are long walks on the beach and listening. Sam's role as Sport Services Co-ordinator role is divided between coordinating the delivery of national canoe/kayak sport activities across all disciplines in conjunction with Australian Canoeing Technical Committees and providing proactive, efficient and informed communications to members, media organisations and the wider community.
