FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2015-16 AUSTRALIAN CANOEING AWARDS

This year has been an amazing year for paddling in Australia. There has been many fantastic results at international events including Olympics and Paralympics. There has also been wonderful work done at the local level by volunteers and coaches.
We had a large number of nominations for our annual awards and after careful consideration the Honours Committee decided on the following finalists:

  • Senior Men’s Canoe Sprint K2 1000m (Ken Wallace and Lachlan Tame)
  • Senior Women’s Canoe Sprint K2 500m (Alyce Burnett and Alyssa Bull)

The winners will be announced at the 2016 Annual Awards evening to be conducted in Sydney on the 12th November.
