Welcome to Oklahoma City
Oklahoma City would like to welcome you to the 2014 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships on the Oklahoma River. The Boathouse District on the Oklahoma River is a designated official U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site, the venue has hosted Olympic Trials for Canoe Sprint in 2008 and 2012, as well as the USA Rowing World Challenge, USA Canoe/Kayak Sprint National Championships, USRowing Masters National Championships, and several regional and local regattas over the past decade. Home to the Oklahoma City National High Performance Training Center, the Boathouse District provides training opportunities for both canoe/kayak athletes and rowers. Oklahoma's Western Heritage

Oklahoma's Sporting Presence
In addition to being home to an official Olympic and Paralympic Training Site, Oklahoma City is also home to three professional sports teams.
